Buying New Car.
Im car shopping right now for the 370z and i'm not sure if i should pay the extra $3000 for the sports pkg. Does it show up on insurance and could it raise my rates? How much did you pay for your 370z? I live in Dallas and they don't have many in the dealerships' inventory.

THe insurance company will probably not know if you have a sports package. THey go by vin numbers and the sports package is simply a add on option.
When I called my insurance company to get a quote on my Z, all they needed was a VIN number and that was all. They didn't even ask for specific model or options added on. I personally think the sports package is really worth it if you are not going to mod the living hell out of your car. |

Sports package is definitely a worthwhile option.
Depending on your company, that option doesn't put the 370Z in a different insurance class than the base model. |

Very much a must have. In regards to insurance, since it is not a "go fast" option, it doesn't jack your rate up.

The insurance will go by the VIN of the car.

I went without sports, and I effing love this car. It's not necessary for the enjoyment of the vehicle.
That said, if you want it, 3k isn't a huge sum, and I doubt it'll have any impact on the insurance costs. |

I would have to say that the Sport Package was hands down the best option that I've seen available for a vehicle in some time. Trust us when we say that you will not regret purchasing your Z with it on there!
