weight isn't the issue... my Fiancee is 5'6 135 lbs and it's doing this... this is a car issue and a serious safety one at that as the OP said.

The thing is its OFF when nothing is in the seat of course, then when she sits on it, it lights UP OFF. so...Im concerned now. And probably will be taking my car to the dealership also.

if the sensors aren't any better than this then we'll be seeing a recall on them soon. If my Fiancee were to get hurt because of that thing... i'd be suing the hell out of Nissan.

Well lets just hope a major accident doesnt happen for ANYONE! =]

It might be doing it on purpose as stated above, I have no idea.

My Fiancee bounced in the seat and the light went off... I thought at first it was maybe the speed or something and it came on at higher speeds, but it just goes on and off on it's own.

Bring it in and have it checked.

Sometimes I ride with my bookbag in the pass seat and the light will go on and off. If it's not going on or off with her sitting in the seat... something ain't right.

My '11 just started doing this. It's strange that the airbag off light doesn't illuminate with nothing in the seat, but if I through a case of beer on there it lights up. Also, sometimes (but not all the time) when my lady sits in the seat it lights up. She's 5'7" and about 115 lbs.

Has anyone taken this to the dealer to have it looked at? If so, what was the result?

Was wondering when someone was going to call out all of the pedo's on this forum...

I can see it now... 20/20 special: the370z.com - safehaven for pedophiles to share stories of their issues... and frost's own personal twisted playground.
