Damn no one mentioned lambo doors, Z3 fenders, and neon lights under the car? Or are those not considered rice lol.

molamann 04-26-2009 11:58 AM

Between the basket-handle (with stripes) and the, "if it's loud, it must be fast" exhaust note . . . I'm guessing those guys were just envious of the guy in the fake supercharged Z.

Last I checked all our Z's were made in Japan, so technically we're all driving a "Riced Out" or "Rice Burner" car. The non-performance things that people put on their cars (park bench spoilers, CF everywhere, extra-wide body kits, landing kit LED's, etc...) are just they're way of expressing themselves and standing out, so more power to them! As long as it makes you happy and it's not offensive to other people who cares what you put on your car. Why be stock and drive the same ride like the next guy? Plus, it's fun to laugh at some of the ridiculous things people do to there cars.:rofl2:

That's so funny!!! But on a more serious note, I've retrofitted my fuel system with di-lithium crystals.

"Rice", is a mentality. You can rice out ANY car, no matter what brand or where its built. Period.

My no-no's on this car?

-Ridiculous body kits that cost $5000+ (or worse yet, cheap ones that look horrid...).
-Park bench wings
-SLAMMING THE CAR TO THE GROUND! This car needs, probably at MOST, a .5" drop. After that, I feel you're compromising the dynamics and ground clearance of the vehicle and you've now just become a show-only car.
-The "MUST HAVE CARBON FIBER EVERYTHING!" mentality. No, you don't, and no, it doesn't save a lot of weight lol.
-Excessively tinting the headlights. Not a fan, think its unsafe and somewhat tacky.

I agree with everything.

I hate the patchwork carbon fiber look. I have seen some cars on here that have some parts CF, some parts OEM painted... they just put CF wherever they can get a CF part for it, and it looks horrible.
