Don't forget curb weight might increase as well... I miss the times when people said the '03 Zs were the lightest :-)

Engine changes usually see rumors leak out a few months early and press releases will confirm or debunk them a couple months before the model is rolled out, usually during some quarter report for investors to see whats coming/happening in the near future to justify them keeping their money with Nissan. You probably won't see anything involving the 2010 coupe floating around until the vert and nismo have been out for a few months

Ive been told by a dealer that theyre probably going to just carry this years model over next year because of the production cuts...

I'm curious what were the changes made between the 03 and 04 Z's (if there were any made)? Were their at least minor changes?

DIGItonium 04-27-2009 08:58 AM

Between '03 and '04? Attempts to fix tire feathering and transmission grinding...

tvfreakazoid 04-27-2009 03:43 PM

it seems nissan won't make any changes.

A dealer told me they're not allowed to do that. The VIN should properly reveal which year they are made.

you guys can wikipedia the z33. shows you the timeline and the changes between the year and models. maybe that will be a glimpse of what is to come.

eXo5 05-01-2009 07:43 PM

anything new at this point?

Greg 05-01-2009 08:15 PM

1st to 2nd year? Most time's there arent any changes other than maybe software or defect fixes etc.. Midlife or model ending years are where most of the performance or cosmetic upgrades turn up.

In my dream world the 2010 model will come with an oil cooler fitted as standard

iceman21_23 05-02-2009 03:21 AM

i'd like to see the oil cooler fitted on standard as well... it be proof that it is defective and that they need to recall the 09's to outfit them with it
