For the record.. I called ALL local Mitsu dealers in the area and none of them had the exact car with the options I wanted except for the one dealership. The economy was bad and no one was buying, and the car IS actually rare and since not many people even know what it is, many dealers don't stock them. They were also trying to push the Ralliart since it was it's first year out so most dealers were stocking them instead. Make you feel better? |

just on the money note. Financing a car is not a bad idea if the rate is right . I borrowed the full 78000 for my FX50S at 0.9%. Did I have the money in the bank to buy it outright? YES!. But even a TFSA will net me 3.5%. So if i bought it outright I would actually loose interest money. Make sence to you poor people? Never spend your own money when you can spend someone elses and keep yours working for ya

Boys boys boys, to those who want to jump to conclusions, my point was simply that to someone who is, and I quote, "filthy f*cking rich," the interest earned over the loan period on a ~$40k car wouldn't even be noticeable. Shumby, since you threw yourself in the conversation, you must be maxed out dropping $78k on a car if you would be that financially impacted by lost interest. OP, I too am sorry for thread jacking, I just felt the need to call a tool out and things got a little out of hand.

"I laughed and said Chris... I guarantee you that I will get 0% interest on this car... and he says " well well, how are you going to do that"? and then I said, BECAUSE MY FAMILY IS FILTHY FU*KING RICH YOU MORON" ... literally yelling it into the phone." After a response like that, and putting in on a public forum for all the world to see? Sorry, but I don't NEED to know what you do, nor do I really care for that matter. Your response speaks volumes. I find it amusing that anyone that calls you out for the tone and content by which you speak is assumed to be "jealous" of you? .... sigh.... I also find it laughable that folks who feel they are "rich" or "have more money than anyone" and that "everyone else is just jealous", needs to blurt it out in context on a public forum, and somehow have to embed their story in a so-called response to the OP, just to get their kicks. Again, hilarious. It's all kindda sad and pathetic too.

Now... OP AGAIN, i'm sorry that others are hijacking the thread over and over.. I didn't intend for that to be the issue. I am curious if you did wind up making any deal or if they got closer to your number? I was close to buying a 40th anniversary edition before I got mine. I just felt like I would be TO particular about it. I also am not really a grey person.. it's not a bad grey since it is dark, but I just liked the white better and didn't care if it was a special edition or not. I said that because I was curious if you had come across any of these during your searches for Z's? |
