Obey all speed limits, don't drink and drive, and ALWAYS stop for the following sign.

Always.

LOL @ shifting... yeah, it will take me a few hundred miles to get the hang of this. I drove 2 hours back from the dealer yesterday to work. When I got home I decided to move my BMW to the other driveway (also a stick) and stalled it! Totally different feel and shifting and clutch. It'll take a while.

What is the Conti DW? Is that the Extreme Contact Dry Wet? If so, it's the highest rated tire for this car on TireRack.

It may be sacrilege to say this, but the Z is my daily driver and will get driven in rain and snow. I have a while before I gotta think about snow tires, but the day will come.

I noticed when I was flogging the car a bit getting on the highway that it suddenly lost power on the 3-4 shift. I look down and see the traction control light blinking... I had synchro rev on, and I was surprised it got a little loose on the 3-4 shift. Not a lot of traction on these OEM tires. How do you like the DW's?
