Exactly the point about mustangs. Your right again, that is what I want in a car people to be like what is that and not see 15 more on the road next to me.

The Challenger is a little boaty, but somehow still manages to be a blast to drive. Its fast enough and the torque makes the car alot of fun, but the interior is pretty bland and really leaves you wanting more. Put the Z interior in the Challenger and my decision would have been made. I wonder if after a while of having a challenger you feel more like your in a buick on the inside because all you see is that and not the exterior when you drive. In a Z Im guessing you always know what your in.

Every financial decision was based around saving up more money to down payment the Z. I thought "what if the new model next year comes in orange??" but I bought one anyway. The next year's model came in another grey color. winning! Now if I bought a 2008 350Z and found out the 370 was coming out, I would have been sadface. I don't think that's the case for another couple years.

2. Which year you buy might depend on color selection, if you want an OEM backup camera, etc. I have a 2010 that has defrosting mirrors and a cabin microfilter over the 2009. Also I guess they fixed some hatch problems. I don't see any huge 2010 problems and I assume the 2011 is just as solid.

3. I wonder what it would be like to own the other cars and then remember how passionate I am about this car and how unique it is.

4. Exclusivity.
You hit my point in question 1 on the head. I was thinking in terms of had I have bought a 350 and then the 370 came out I would feel like my car is no longer cool at all because IMO the 370 is such a better car in many ways. Same as if you bought a 2010 Mustang GT and then the 2011 5.0 came out. I want to avoid that feeling of let down, thats why I asked. Im also doing the same, Im just saving up money for the car and I dont want to finally make the move I have been waiting for for so long, and then in 1 year have a new one come out that trumps me.

Thats why I like the Challenger and 370z alot. The Challenger will always look the same on the outside and they are supposed to discontinue it. The 370z is the total package and now with you guys saying plans of a new Z are not out yet that helps ease my worry. Plus with these two, everybody may not know what they are but they do know that they are awesome cars.
