relief huhh?! lol. glad your wheels are in and are that much closer to being put on your Z!:happydance:

yeah I feel about a million times better now, I know I probably called 2 many times but I was getting no response to my voicemails and it freaked me out. Also, Lou's shop is short-staffed at the moment so this is obviously playing a huge factor in the issue, so I can understand it being a little difficult to get back 2 me.

UPDATE:
So remember my last post above this one? I was told the wheels should ship out on or around the 1st of July. Well I called on the 6th of July because I still hadn't received any information. was told the wheels were still at fedex and were not able to be picked up until later in the week because the shopwas 2 busy. OK FINE. I called again on the 8th, wheels were at the shop but they did not have time to ship them yet. "They will ship today and I will send you a tracking #". Today is the 12th, no tracking #. I just think it is frustrating that wheels sit at fedex for an extra week and then at the shop for a week and ahalf, for all I know they are still sitting there. call me impatient all you want, I was quoted the first week of June. Somebody make me feel better..

I know some people have experience with this seller and all but if a business can't get out a product when they say they will, or even worse within a month and a half of that date, then they're too busy for my money.

sorry to hear, but thanks for the updates. your experience will aid me in my future purchases for sure. im a businessman myself and i dont take 'too busy' as a valid reply.

The bad thing is I really like the guy and he has helped me out by getting me a good deal on the wheels, but why can't you follow through with what you say you are going to do? even things as simple as calling me back in the same week? or typing a tracking # into an email or PM or text and sending it 2 me? come on. I can totally understand not being the most helpful when the wheels are on a boat in the ocean, but not when they are sitting in your shop. sorry I am venting. lol

Well you can't really expect a vendor to ship out a product right away when it comes in stock. I wasn't really impressed with his price quote and I think he took many days to get back to me with his quote.

The good thing is very soon you will have your wheels and all will be forgotten.

I agree about having getting my wheels and moving on, that will be a great relief, but I do expect a vendor to at least take delivery of a product from a shipping company in the first day or two that it is available, they sat at fedex for over a week, and then why not just take delivery for his shop's inventory then flip back to fedex and ship out? maybe I am naive but they have sat on the floor at the shop for an extra week as well! :icon14:

that's if they are using some budget carrier where they need to call for pickup 48hrs in advance, make an appointment, have a trucker come and pick it up maybe on day 3. :ugh2:

but i believe we are talking FedEX here. should not take more than 24hrs to get the packages re-labled and shipped out.

nismodreamr 07-12-2011 01:24 PM

here is a funny concept, I will be in southern california july 20th through august 8th, if my wheels don't show up by then, I will be @ Amplified Motorsports to pick them up, tell me that isn't messed up.

update, called in yesterday, was told that the wheels were dropped off at UPS monday, asked for a tracking # but was told he did not have it with him, I CALLED THE SHOP, not a cell phone or anything. was also told that ups would send me an email with a tracking # in it, but I have never given them my email or anything and still have no tracking #. COME ON!

kenchan 07-13-2011 12:53 PM

I skimmed through your thread and it's unfortunate you have had such a bad experience. Seems that too many of these wheel companies are taking orders that they can not deliver on in the agreed upon time frame. I don't blame you for being upset. Lou has a good reputation. Hopefully he will take care of you with this situation. Good luck and definitely post some pictures when you get the wheels mounted.

+1,000,000 :iagree::iagree::iagree:

kenchan 07-13-2011 01:55 PM

yah, i mean even when a novice like me ships personal stuff i get a receipt from the UPS store which has the tracking# right there.

if they used a computer to make the labels like my logistics team does at work we all know tracking numbers are stored in the pc's logs...
