Pretty much depends where you live. If you live around New York and park in your driveway then yes you need them unless you want to come out in the morning to see your car on blocks. Up in New England I don't worry about it, criminals up here are far too lazy to go to all that trouble.

Oh... and one more thing.
After they finished removing the wheel lock and mounted the spare, an associate said "your 350Z is ready." I'm about to leave when I notice those idiots didn't at least put a regular lug to replace the wheel locks Basically, I had two wheel locks on the front wheels that has the potential to shatter killing small animals and two rear wheels held on with 4 lugs. Nothing catastrophic, but still...common sense tells me the correct number is 5. It took all of ten minutes to put on a new "correct" set of wheel locks all around. They had to order the tire, so I hope I have better luck this Saturday when they install in. I really hope my wheel isn't FUBR from them removing the lock.
