fair enough
|
Wish I could have one of each and a 911, but...
I actually considered (for a split second) trading the Z in for a GTR, but I just prefer my sports cars with clutches. Even if it's slower off the line, I love my Z and I love the connection to the car that a MT gives a driver. Also, I really like the small size of the Z. No back seat for me. You only need those in minivans and camaros! |
For me... Z hands down because GTR is automatic. The driving experience is just not the same no matter how fast the GTR's transmission can shift for me.

Dreamer thread is for dreamers!

I'm very up in the air b/c the 2012 GTR does feel more refined than the 2009.... my insurance quote came out to $9000 for the GTR =(

I suppose if we want an exciting commute, the gtr should not be a first choice... Its supposed to be soooo easy to drive my grandma can drive it... For the same money life becomes exciting if i get to drive a lotus exige as a daily...
Anyway the z sorta strikes a balance.. |
I love my Z. But I can't wait to get a GTR :) both are great cars in their own way.

I wanted a convertible, so no.

I'm too lazy to go back and quote this but GTM claim over 500whp on a base 370Z. If a 370Z can achieve that stock other than the supercharger than it can definitely run with a GTR, if not faster. Unless I missed something :/

I think the question that would make this a much more fair question would be:
If the GTR and Z produced identical power and torque AND cost the same..which would you buy? I think that would drastically change the answers of most of yous out there that are all about the extra power. I would definitely go with the Z regardless, because I think it's incredibly sexy! |
