Not impressed with the seats
Coming from Audi and Lexus Im a little disappointed with the seats in this car. They seem a bit cheep and narrow. Z fan boys feel free to flame away
|
They are not too bad in my opinion

I like my heated/cooled seats. They're actually pretty damn comfortable on a long trip. I just wish I was able to recline a little more.
|
I'd much rather have that bucket seat feeling then be sliding all over the place in luxury seats,
|
Look at the price you paid for your 370. That should tell you volumes as to why you believe the seats in an Audi or Lexus are "better".
Other than that... I like the seats in mine. To each their own. |
i feel the same pain coming from my audi (S5) to the base Z seats. the touring ones seam to be a lot nicer...
i just sucked it up am trying to get recaro's as a replacement |

I've got base seats (although I reupholstered for giggles).
I think they're great, but they can be a bit tight. I've heard more comfort complaints about the touring seats than the base seats, though. And the roadster owners I've met completely love their seats. to each their own, though. |
The base seets feel a bit more supportive than the touring seats. Marginal difference but a difference. I'll trade my Nismo seats for leathers tho!

I think he likes those wider seats that fit fat people. I guess they can be considered bucket seats too.

Evil Sports: It seems like your intention with this post, and with your responses, is just to piss people off. You didn't even mention what kind of seats you have or how they are different than what you had in your other cars (other than "cheap and narrow"). You have provided little useful information and have wasted everyone's time. Good job.
Back on topic - I like my touring seats a lot, and they fit me perfectly, but I haven't tried the seats in a modern Audi or Lexus. |
I took the seats out of my car, I sit on the floor, I like to FEEL my car
|
My car drives itself for me, I don't worry about trivial things like seats.
|
Gas prices are to high for me now so I cut the floor out of my car and now I drive flintstones style
|
:rofl2:

The BMW M3 seats are the best bang for your buck under $100k.
|
5.0 seats actually fly, you push the eject button when you go to fast in your 5.0

True story,

the seats in the Z are better than my '04 A4 seats IMO. i'm nice and snug in the Z, while staying reasonably comfy, so while i'm driving the car at a brisk pace, i'm stay in the same position. in the A4 i actually have to compensate and shift my weight around so i don't slip too badly |
Gawd these NISMO seats are the worst. Looks like they were made for tiny little japanese people. Whatever the case, it definitely keeps me planted in the seat when cornering hard or drifting; like they were meant to. Road trips are a pain in the ***, literally.
