My wife bought the car. I just drive it. When I need to Nav, I plug in the Garman. The Sat radio works fine. If not, I have the ipod which has my entire music collection on it. A couple of buttons and I am good to go. With the way our Z sounds it would have been a waste of money to add anything other than what it came with. I am not knocking the car, but we bought it for the sheer fun of driving it.
My experience with buying OEM options has been so so. Many times I have paid extra to have equipment installed only to find out that when I went to trade it in, the high paid options did not add to the value of my trade. It only added to the value when the next person bought the car. Over the past years I have noted that although the OEM equipment looks and performs well most high end after market gear is just has good or in some cases even better. Plus, most high end operations can install your gear which has the look of OEM or better. |

Couldn't have said it any better. My previous car I went all out and got the nav, bluetooth, full integration, etcetc etc.... I hardly used it in the 3 years I owned the car.... don't get me wrong, it was "nice", but... was more interested in the "drive" than the techno babbles and "bling" inside the car. To each his own.

I got mine with nav. As someone else said it was more for the clean look and easy integration with Blue tooth, ipod, etc. My only complaint would be the bose audio system (with any touring model). I wish it was more easily upgraded.

I think Anthony Weiner agrees. He knows a chubby when he sees it.

I am a big fan of the few places in the Z that I can hide things. Like my beloved cubbyhole . My only regret is not having a USB port.
