Frost/Gray Leather Interior

I'm thinking of the white on frost combo...

Can anyone speak to how the frost interior will do over time in terms of staying clean? Is it a hassle to keep clean?

huh? what about it?

He's asking about how a frost/gray interior holds up to wear and tear and if keeping it clean will be a problem.

Was it really that hard to comprehend? :ugh2:

I dont speak from experience but I'd assume it'll be a pain in the *** to keep clean and will probably get scuff marks quite easily.

It totally sux that up here in Canada we get limited colour combinations (ie White only comes with a grey interior). My first colour choice was White but I want to avoid the grey leather.

Looks like I'll have to go with Black or Platinum Graphite...

I have a roadster with the frost interior and it is very easy to keep clean. It will show how dirty it is faster than the dark interior. I get slight dye ruboff from my jeans as well. But I use a quality leather cleaner and conditioner and one quick rubdown and the seats are good as new.

Put it this way, the light interior will show the dirt faster than the dark interior but there both just as dirty. The bonus is that the lighter interior is cooler in summer than the dark.

It also comes down to personal choice as well. I prefer a lighter colored interiors and detest black/dark gray interiors. So I'm happy that I'm getting frost seats in my new Satsuma sports coupe

I would say it shouldnt be any harder to keep clean but I tend to stay away from leather because I stress over the wear, a rub off from jeans too much.

here are some pics of the frost interior:

my main concern is really the synthetic suede... how will it handle a slight coffee spill or any other mishap? obviously it's going to require more effort than a dark interior, i'm just wondering how much more...

why nissan would restrict color combos in Canada is beyond me!!

IMO id go with Black interior.

i wish i could, but in Canada the only option with white is the frost interior... wtf is that about? i hope there is some sort of logical explanation for this, because if this is an arbitrary decision on the part of nissan Canada, that would be very sad:confused:

Well, we have this combo, and what I thought would be a pain to clean and maintain regarding the gray interior has not materialized. Needless to say, my wife and I both like this combo.

wow, that looks incredible!!! definitely the nicest looking combo i've seen... those pics have convinced me, i'll be ordering my Z within the week.

The white on white combo looks very classy. I don't want any of the upgrades in the touring model except the inserts and maybe the seats. The reason I shun away from white seats is solely upkeep (and the added weight plays a little role). No matter what I'll get a hold of some inserts somehow (when I purchase the Z) as I did with my current RSX-S. It really adds a whole new level to your interior with a two-tone finish.

What type of fabric are the inserts, suede? How do you they feel?

The suede is faux microfiber suede.

I like how that sounds so fancy-schmancy. I think i'm gonna go have dinner at the BK lounge tonight.
