i've seen some Z's with different headlights, but what are they called, and where can i get them?

thanks!!
The headlight modifications are manual mods performed either by yourself or a third party. It appears that the work is relatively straightforward and have yielded successful results, but the work requires the headlights to be baked or heated with a heat gun to release the epoxy, permitting the headlight to be taken apart. The key here is to ensure that plenty of epoxy is used thereafter to ensure that moisture does not get inside. Take a look in the DIY section for pictures of the procedure if interested.

Ok..as far as mods for longevity go, the one that I can think of off the top of my head right now is to go with a clear bra. The paint on the Z is notoriously soft and is subject to damage from tumbling highway-speed pebbles. 3M Ventureshield is a popular option, but everyone has their favorites. Do a search for clear bra for more input.

I'm not gonna lie, the Z has been a great car with reasonable maintenance costs thus far. I would anticipate that the G would be a bit more expensive, but don't really know.

Hope this helps.

First time I've heard the Z described as "practical," but I see what you mean.

False. One just has to sit in the other's lap. Come on man, rookie mistake

Mine reads biorythms and heartbeats, similar to a Valentine radar detector, it detects multiple targets

Lightbulb a few thoughts

I am currently driving an e92 335i but the lease ends in december of this year.
I thought about keeping the car, but the ridiculous maintenance makes me think otherwise.
I'd like to lower the price of my next car, but still be able to enjoy the ride.

I know it's kind of early, but I narrowed my options to two cars, and i am stuck between the G coupe and the Z. (I will probably buy the car this time, and plan on keeping it for 3+ years)
I personally like the appearance and price of the Z more, but the G can fit up to 4, and the inside looks better imo.

anyways, now to questions about the z..
-Is the sports package worth the price?yes
-What is/are the website i can use to buy mods for the car?
-How is the maintenance of the z?i got a scheduled maintenance package
-Did you ever regret getting the z?no
-What MPG do you AVERAGE in general?20
-Would you rather spend more and get the G?no
-Any inputs on the G?

Thanks for reading and i will appreciate any answers/inputs from you guys!!
from BMW to Z?

make sure you test drive

the noise was a shock to my system

how much money can "we" spend?

better cars loom over the horizon

once I can afford/justify $45k+

good luck!
