i think it's possible to do better, but it depends on a few other factors, including availability in kansas and the dealer's offer amount on your trade-in.

for example, i got the same package in '10, minus splash guards, for 30,500, but i took a hit on the trade-in value of the car i traded in. plus, at the time, every dealer around me had a good number of 370z's sitting on their lots.

if the dealer is giving you a good trade value, that price could be worth it. i've never once gotten a trade value from a dealer that i really thought was fair, though.

if you're patient, or you can temporarily float the funds, you could end up doing better by grabbing the z at a good price and selling the altima private party..

Wait, you paid $28,600 on a 2011 370Z with sports package?

I'm guessing it was a 2010.

is that being ordered or is that for a Z that is actually on the dealers lot?

I don't think it's quite being ordered, although it is being shipped about 300 miles away. That price includes shipping and freight.

2009 purchased in mar 2010. I think you can get roughly the same deal on the left over 2010 now

Yeah I thought so.

I'm still debating on what color to get.

*Brilliant Silver = +Looks clean longer, +scratches & dents are not as visible,
*Monterey Blue or Pearl White = +Has metallic flake, +/- Not sure how clean it stays
*Black = +The color I really want, -Gets dirty quickly, -scratches and dents are more visible

Is there anything I'm missing? Btw I hear Nissan's paint quality is garbage. I've had a bad experience with red on my altima. Is it true about all the colors?

not sure about Monterey Blue myself either, but from reading the posts over the last 6 or so months i've been lurking around this site, blue seems to get the least complaints about looking dirty.

Blue does a pretty decent job of keeping clean-looking, yet when the pollen is out in full force all bets are off!!

For the first time this week I let it go two weeks without washing and was surprised to see how well it did. If only I could keep the love bugs and bird shyte at bay!

I got a new quote for a 2011 blue/SP/manual invoice price is $33,878. This price includes shipping which is almost 1000 miles away but it will be shipped on a trailer. They'll give me 18,000 for my trade in(Altima with damage) and I get to keep the 1,500 insurance check.

This still sounds like to much money. $34,480 is the msrp w/ SP. So I'm getting about 1,200 off msrp. It seems like everyone else on this forum is getting super crazy deals compared to me. How do you do it?

the problem is you are not buying a car off the dealer's lot, so there is less room to negotiate.

that price isn't horrible for a 2011 with shipping included imo.

sounds a little fishy to me as i was quoted at invoice price for the same car with splash guards, floor and trunk mats at $32,431 and thats with me having to have the dealer order it straight from Nissan
