I carry a 4.5" Springfield XDM .40 most of the time. I usually place it behind the passenger's seat for good availability while driving. I've also tried sliding a relatively small belt holster onto the driver's side knee guard; it worked well, but I did not like the indention made in that particular location.

one of the smoothest .45 ive ever shot. I've tried many .45s but E series 1911 is just simply amazing.
Bought it used from my dads friend (owns more than 10 different types of .45) Had about 1500 shots before I purchased it and works like a charm Last edited by jaedub; 05-31-2011 at 04:17 PM. |

No handgun feels better to shoot than a 1911.

I like how they feel, look, etc. but I have owned some nice ones and they just don't run like a Glock. I guess after owning a $4000 jam-o-matic (Tactical Supergrade from Wilson, as well as a Les Baer TRS--both sucked in the reliability department even when clean, well and correctly lubed, and on the square range. No dirt or running dry needed. They failed when pretty.), you become a bit anti-1911.
Give me my tupperware. |
