I carry either a Sig P229 or a Walther PPS in an OWB Blade-Tech holster. Both are uncomfortable, although the PPS less so because of its thinner profile. I don't care for IWB holsters.
I put whichever pistol in the flip-out storage compartment behind the passenger seat. |

I carry a Glock 23 IWB with 2 extra mags on weak side and it is very comfortable when driving but I guess that doesn't help you much since you dont like IWB

If you're going to buy and carry an IWB holster, take it off inside the Z if you can. I wouldn't want that ish pinching my nerve and making my leg go numb. Not worth it. However, any other car that has a different style seat is probably more comfortable when carrying that gun at the 4 or 5 o'clock position.

A small firearm can tuck under the rear edge of the floor mat under your right leg, or even in the door pocket, same place I keep my sunglasses case.
