Default 350z to 370z owners

Not sure if this has been covered but i am aware that everyone who has had a 350z and switches to another car, ie. Sti or evo, love there new car but still miss the Z, im not a 370z owner yet but hasthis happen to anyone who switched from the 350 to the 370? Any major differences that made u miss the older model? Did the new one just get it all right? Obviously the interior is no longer cheap lookin like in the 350 but im talkin driveability wise

It wasnt rare to see an old friend pop up on our fourm and say he missed his car although he loved his new one, theres something about em i guess. Im only 18 so when the 370z came out in 09 i fell in love no joke, i bought a 350 as my first car thanks to my army bonus but since we deploy at the end of this year i think its time to upgrade...sell my z before i leave and when i get back i hope to have 15-23k if all works out...just get a lil 10k loan and hope my dream comes a reality wothout breaking the bank haha. Already got a 10k loan and the payments r comfortable but by the time i get back im sure ill b e4 which will help compensate for the higher imsurance lol

The only thing I really miss about my 350Z was the ability to put the digital speedo up on one of the top dash gauges - really handy and a lot better than a clock.

I did love that car. It was a lease return that someone had modded and then stripped. I bought it for a song after I extracted some serious concessions from the dealer. After some judicious mods and replacements, she was good as new. I know it must have been hammered on, but the drive train never gave me a bit of trouble.

350 sounds better stock, better throttle reponse, FEELS torquier(287hp).

my friend said it best, you only buy a 350 now because you cant afford a 370. the 350 looks dated, especiallly compare to the 370.

The 370Z improved on the 350Z at least a little bit in almost every way. Digital speedo and tire pressure readouts being things they dropped that they probably shouldn't have. Important things like hp, curb weight, and handling improved. Hard to imagine someone wanting to go backwards. The 350Z did sound a lot better stock, though.

The 370z is definately a step up. I didn't own the 350 but have driven a few. Its true the engine/exhaust sounded better and felt a little more torquey. But I do think handling wise, the 370 perfected what the 350 didn't. A 370z sport still kicks a 350nismo's azz.

I miss my 350... had a blast owning it. That's why I moved into a 370 years later.

Z cars are fun to drive, that's why I own'em.

Agree they are great to drive. I love how my 03 Z handles so now i cant wait to deploy so i can get a new Z. Now one thing i wonder...wats wrong wit the new Z's. Already noticed on this forum that the engine over heats and the gas has trouble pumpin under 1/4 tank. Anything else i should know?

I had "the best" 350Z - the HR. I did own an '03 Z, too. I remember the '03 had an almost muscle-car-like torque off the line and ran out of steam around 6,000 RPM. I preferred the "enough" torque and nice pull to redline of the '08.

The 370 feels much better IMO. As much as I really liked my 350Z, the only thing I miss about it was how carefree it was to drive, with it being 3 years old and having a few chips and stuff.

only guys who pick the 350 over the 370 are the ones who has a 350...

if you do a search, you should see a corner by corner comparsion atg two different race tracks by speed
