Default Bad News

I have a 2010 370Z and got the Boofsquire. Let me be frank. I am NOT happy with them right now. My car is white and the rubber leaves yellow marks all over my lid, the rack moves every time you drive and no matter what I do it will not stay in one place and works lose.

I have contacted them many times via email and they DO NOT respond. They DO NOT have a phone number you can call and talk to someone and am thinking about taking them to court over this as it's the only option out there but it still needs work.

What is my cargo? I have a 16 pound Cannondale Synaps that I take with me that that is it.

I would like to see if anyone else has seen the same thing with the rack?

I talked to CURT today.

Trailer Hitches, Heavy Duty Hitch, & Towing Accessories Made in America by CURT Manufacturing.

If you have 370Z and live near Eau Claire, WI they would love for you to bring it by so they can fit it for a hitch. The 370Z is one of the vehicles on the "hit list" but they just don't have one to fit and start making them. Please please someone take them a Z. They said it would take about 3 days to fit it and get one right.

I'm sure we would all do one like this, if we could get the hitch part.

Any competent fabricator can build a hitch. You can buy all the parts readily. The only obstacle I can see would be how to insert the lock pin on the receiver. If you don't want the receiver coming through the bumper, you'd have to reach up behind the bumper to insert the pin.

I don't have a nice bike. Matter of fact, the bike hitch I use is terrible (getting a new one soon).

UHaul in Phoenix will custom design a hitch for the Z too, but just a word of advice. I saw a piece they designed for the 350. While it is a nice unit, but it is not hidden and they don't reinforce the bumper. Please be careful if you use it for light towing.

Sounds like a lot of work, you might as well pay the money and get a rack made. I love my new one.
