Kids and the 370z
 

Just wondering if any of you have kids. I have 1, 12 year old and never thought about a 2 seater before now. Not the most practical car but Im in 370 love:worship:

When I was in your shoes (sort of...kids are only 18 mos apart) I bought an RX-8. 4 seats. Fun to drive. Make you go broke at the pumps. Traded it for a MINI Cooper. 4 seats. Good mileage. Great fun. Complete piece of crap.

Get the Z if you love it, and a DD for trips with the kids.

I have zero kids and loving it.

My kids are 25 and 22, thats why I get to drive a Z now:bowrofl:

I have 5 kids ranging in age from 4 months to 19 years.

I have kids -- 21 and 23. They drive their own Z's. A few of mine they weaseled out of me.

I have 3 kids 11, 9, and 8. When I had a last car a four seater I still rarely drove the kids around in the back. My other car is a ford explorer so the rule with the wife is who ever doesn't have the kids takes the truck. It's working out pretty well right now.

And to tell you the truth the 8 yr old girl like the Z the best of the kids.

We have two girls....eight and eleven. We have a crew cab Frontier and recently ordered a Juke for hauling the kiddos around. The Z is our date night car plus my fun toy. I drive it almost every day unless I think the weather will be bad. Love me some Z.

I will tell you the same thing I told my sons -- get a paternity test and then we can talk. :tiphat:

The wife is 3 months pregnant....luckily she agreed with me getting it now before kids came into the picture. She said 2 yrs from now it would have been a "hell no"

I should be keeping the Z, wife has a 328Xdrive, perfect for Baby seat lol

Well... I guess my wife said that about me getting a bike but that's a little different..

same here my daughter of 8 years and loves the Z:tup:, thinks its her car but do let me drive it on and off

Well I have a Ridgeline and a Rx 330 so I have that covered.

Have a 2 year old daughter and thinking of having another little one. My wife is a stay at home Mom...she has a 2011 Maxima. So any trips involving all 3 of us...we go in the Max.

I do miss not being able to enjoy the 370Z with the entire family...but if you have little ones...look at the mess they leave in the back seat/car seat and you will be happy you don't have to deal with that in the 370!

If I had kids at home, there's no way I'd be able to afford a 2-seater, much less be able to justify one.

2 little ones for me. I only drive the Z on the weekends when I get a chance. :)

This 21 year old kid of yours... Is this kid a girl? Goes to UC Davis? Drives a 2003 350Z 6MT?

Only reason why I ask is because I know someone of that age who comes from west sacramento.... It would be a weird coincidence to run into a friend's dad on the forum... LOL

My wife is 32 weeks pregnant with twin boys and I just purchased my Nismo two weeks ago. The Z is my weekend/fun car. I have a DD for work and a SUV for the two kids on the way.

Are you gonna stretch that NISMO into a maxima?

Nope. My 21 year old is a guy and he drives a 1982 zx turbo, 5 MT that is mean, loud and extremely fast. Its color is a primer black. It sits low on the custom built Koni coliovers he made.

I guess you saw that Nissan commercial, also. =P

Yeah, they are both dream kids, what with a couple trips each to juvenile traffic court, late night visits from the cops, etc. They are awesome.

Actually, they both pursue careers in automobile technology and are enthusiasts on top. It is pretty cool. I have a couple of great resources to get car-stuff done when I don't want to do it myself.

My buddy has a e92 And his son knows our two cars as the "race cars". He will always say "daddy are we taking the race car ? Or mommys boring car? (qx56).". He's 5 ... Teaching them young is gtg

This is exactly why I got a Z.......so I had a good excuse to leave the kids at home!

I got a Z to outrun any children I may have...
