Ahahahahahaha......no. About the only thing a Civic Si (much less the 2012 Si) can compare itself to is the VW GTI. Maybe. A turbo direct-injection 2.3L will pull harder and faster than the 2.0L N/A K20, and the MS3's suspension (2010) allowed it to pull off a 72.x mph slalom when Inside Line tested it. That is Z territory as far as that slalom went. Also, with a proper launch, the MS3 can do 0-60 in under 6 secs stock while the Si is around 6.5 - 7.

Put into proper perspective, neither car is as sport oriented as the Z. But neither claims to be. The real problem is when the Si is marketed to compete with the likes of an MS3.
