Extreme rubbernecking

My parents visited me this weekend and my dad was dying to go for a ride in my Z. So i drove him around for about a half hour before stopping at a Starbucks to talk to him for a bit. From where we were sitting we could see my car, and about ten minutes after we sat down, a couple highschoolers came up to my car to check it out.

Now, I don't mind people checking out my car, because I've done it before too, but this was some crazy rubbernecking. They walked all around it a couple times and even got down and really looked at the front and tail ends, and it looked like they were possibly trying to see the underside too lol. They also managed to do all this while staying a foot away at all times like it had an invisible shield around it. All told, they spent about five minutes checking it out before moving on.

Has anyone eperienced rubbernecking to this degree before?
