Ditto. Just drove ~600 miles today from Toronto to Boston. Mostly cruising around 75 mph with 93 octane. Got about 25 mpg. All tires running 35 psi cold, no passenger, light luggage.

Official Nissan specs are 18/26 mpg. I call BS on 30+ claims - you'd think Nissan would boast with those figures if the car could pull them off.

34 MPG in the perfect world of a Turnpike trip with no air conditioning and cruise control. 20.6 MPG, consistently, in the real world of mostly sensible suburban driving with a little fun, every now and then. No complaints. More than fair for a beautiful, fast sports car.

Your not all lying. Many things affect your gas mileage. I just think some of you don't understand it.

28-30 can be achieved on a warm sunny day and your traveling long distance on a flat road with out many hills.

Short 30 minute trip not so flat roads all highway your gonna see 24-25.

I my self have achieved 29mpg highway with ease on a nice road mostly flat and cruise control at 65. Reality is though expect to get 24-25 because its the most consistent baseline I get in my driving.

Things that I think affect your MPG
Heat level affects tire PSI then affects MPG.
Hills on the road affect MPG
The highway your traveling is uphill verses down hill.
Rain, non rain.

That's what I figured. I think 93 would be a bit better but not as much as what's showing up. I appreciate your response. What do you think of San Diego? Thinking of moving over that way.

I'd agree with those variables. Thanks for that response dude. Type of gas as well as brand or octane I think could be another. Reminds me wish I had Chevron in my area.

Did a long road trip to the Virginia mountains last year, I got about 26 to 27mpg average on the highway. This at an average (and relatively constant) speed in the high 70's and measured over a full tank. The scangauge indicated an instant 35+ mpg every now and then, but that was at (much) lower speeds and perfectly flat or downhill bits... I really wonder how people get 30+ mpg average on a full tank. 45mph constant on a perfectly flat road and tailwind maybe?

No, just drafting behind a semi gets me 30+ mpg.

On a side note, does anyone know why our cars get so many rock chips???
