Out of Storage
I am looking to take my Z out of the garage and drive it to work tomorrow for the first time of the year. The car has just over 2,000 miles on it and I haven't changed the oil yet but planned on it prior to driving it from the storage in my garage. My question is, I may not get a chance to change it tonight and would be driving about 40 - 50 miles tomorrow. Does any one know if there is any risk in doing this? I don't drive the car hard ever and have run the motor a few times over the winter to make sure the battery wasn't dead.

The drive will burn off any water condensation that collected in the oil, the car will be fine.

..And you are not running it hard... Do not worry about it.

Good to hear. I turn 30 tomorrow and wanted to pull out the 40th Z in celebration for the drive to work!

How long has it been in storage? I would have the oil changed considering it is already 2000 miles and there are probably metal shavings that could turn into sludge from oil sitting there. Just my suggestion. Its your car and you can do whatever you want with it.

Effectively last October for the winter. I have taken it around the neighborhood a couple times when nice out just to get the tires off the same spot and the battery charged. I also have run the motor in the driveway a handful of times.
