^This is the second post in the thread made by the OP. It implies that anything under 6-figures is game for discussion as OP is talking about a $15K turbo kit on a $35K car and then goes on about rims, carbon-fiber, and other things in later posts. It is obvious that a Z06 is easily affordable to this person, or that they are running off at the mouth/have no clue. I presume that since OP has a BMW, they are familiar enough with cars/financing enough to know that none of those mods are finance-able and are fine paying $20K out of pocket for them. Therefor, the Z06 is relevant to this discussion at this price-point. OP is looking to spend $50-75K (depending on how the Z is modded) and wants opinions.

My opinion is that that $75K is better spent on a car that needs no mods to equal the modded Z. I went through the exact same thing and went that route and am happy I did. You would have to bury me in the TT 370Z because you would never sell such a car for anywhere near what you had in it. I will have + equity in my Z06 by Jan. of 2013 and I just put 10% down.
