i really like the body lines on the 370. that combined with a set of deep dish 20's set the car off really nice. some cars you look at and are like "man that really catches my attention" well the 370 does that for me. theres just something about the car that i just have to have it. i just wanted to know if anyone regretted the purchase and why. it probably wouldnt have swayed my opinion really. more so just something i should look out for.

What it sounds like you want is a C6 Z06 with the Z07 package.

You get the 450whp a turbo Z on a street tune would have.
You get the CF kit you want.

It also comes with a 100K mile drive line warranty, resale value, and you are assured all the parts in the package will play nice togather.

To do a TT Z...

$35K for the car.
$12-15K for the kit.
$5K for a real CF body-kit and a bit of paint-matching if any is needed, etc.
$4K for rims/rubber.

You end up at $65K with no warranty and probably at least a couple of fabbed up 1-off type parts to make stuff fit that didn't fit and wasn't intended to fit from the factory.
For about $77K, you can get a 1LZ Z07/CFZ equipped Z06.

If you are going to blow $65K on a car, another 12K won't break the bank, and I guarantee the Z06 will be a helluva lot less "kit-car" ish than a 370Z with all those mods regarding reliability as a whole (has proper diff/trans/engine cooling to handle the power, has proper rear-end/transmission to handle the power, etc.)

Just playing devil's advocate, but I came on here wondering the EXACT same thing about the 370Z you did, priced all the TT kits, on and on. Bought the factory 450whp car instead.

Also, I just think the Z06 is a lot more tasteful than a kitted up Z on rims. Every time I see a thread with a kitted up Z, it seems like half the people who post about it say "Meh, not my style". With the Z06/Viper threads, about the only thing people argue is the color of the paint. Factory cars just tend to "flow" a little better. Also, this carries over into resale as well. You seem to get bored easily, keep it in mind.

with the EVO. all you need to do is get a CAI, exhaust, tune( for higher boost) and call it a day. you can also upgrade the intercooler. and then if you are ballz enough to swap a bigger turbo into it+ supporting mods now thats a AWD BEAST!

Dude I'm not trying to take anyone to the mat here, but I see you posting all these American fanboy comments and it makes me wonder. First, have you ever actually owned a Z? And secondly, if you have all these cars you prefer over a Z, including but not limited to, the ones in your signature...why are you even on here? I'm sure there's plenty of Mustang or Camaro forums that would love to have your Z bashing there

I will either end up with another Z down the line, or the new vette. Doe anyone what the new vette will look like, and are they going to change that awful interior. The interior is my biggest turn off.

Don't know yet.

The 2012 Centennial Edition 'Vette's interior looks way nicer, I think.

They also need to fix the flat seat cushions. I test drove a Z51 package Vette and was sliding all over the place when cornering

I read somewhere that they don't want high bolsters on the vette's seats because their target demographic is men in their 50s and above, so they don't want to make the seats too difficult to get in and out of.

At least the Centennial model looks to have pretty decent bolstering in the seats, not sure if others are any different:


Personally if I got a Vette I'd be pulling out the seats for race seats + harnesses. But that's because it'd be almost purely track dedicated.
