So I was driving home when....
So I was driving home yesterday and had this guy in a blue Audi tailgating within a foot of my bumper at an on ramp right before merging into a parkway. I gunned it to get over the next lane and was hitting rev limiter before I know it, shifting from 2nd to 3rd to 4th. The dude was still on my Z's a** and tried to pass me on the right side. I let off the gas after looking down at the speedo. He let off also as he got next to me, then proceeded to do a ricer flyby after realizing I wouldn't race him. It looked like a late model modded RS4 (B5). I'm surprised how much the Z kept up considering its pretty much stock and the Audi has a hp advantage even in stock form.
Note: Please don't flame. I wasn't racing this guy, but he was trying to incite a race. Edit: So apparently it was a modded S4 with over 500hp.

People don't need to be in fast cars to drive like dix. I got cut off by a Land Cruiser today. I constantly get people rev on me, and I just never take the bait. Even if I whip dat azz, it's too much to be bothered with and not worth any of the risks.

Interestingly, the RS4 only gets the jump on the Z off the line due to the Quattro. The 1/4 mi times are all in the high 12s/low 13s with trap speeds almost identical to the Z's. A Z with a catback exhaust, high flow cats, and an intake will probably be neck and neck with a stock RS4.

He was pulling like crazy... I knew he had more under that hood. Had I seen this guy's car at a meet, I'd probably go up and compliment him on a nice ride.
Also, I'm not trying to turn this into a vs. thread or anything, although it will likely end up that way. I just hate it when people tailgate like that or people try and race you on public roads. This was probably a boring story you see once a week, but a las, I bored and have nothing better to post about @kenchan: People who drive Honda Fit(s) just wouldn't understand. Here's your charburger and fries.
