SMOG question for CA owners of used Zs
I know that in CA a new car is exempted from Smog tests for 6 years, but does that apply to a used car that is bought either in state or out of state? I have been having a hell of a time locating a Z and I finally have a line on one in Houston, but I don't want to lose the Smog window as I do plan to go FI.

On my previous car, I decided to go FI. I got pulled over and was told to open the hood. Luckily the officer didn't know what he was looking at, but gave me a ticket to be check out by a state referee.
