High pitch whine

I have isolated what I am hearing, it's coming from the engine bay, under the engine cover. I noticed when I rolled the windows up it was less pronounced. Got

I noticed when I rolled the windows up it was less pronounced. Got outside the car and could hear it coming from the engine bay, raised the hood and voila, it's emanating from under the engine cover. John
