It is an intermittent high pitched whine that seems to be coming from the center dash behind where the nav system would be (I don't have the nav system or sports package, pretty much just the basic touring). I hear it only when moving and it does not vary with engine speed or car speed. Road noise does not cover it up. It sounds like one of the highest frequencies I hear on a commercial airplane when flying. It can continue for minutes or hours and stop for the same random amount of time. It isn't my tinitus as I can ignore that and it will go away, but it has a similar pitch and doesn't go away! Really kills the enjoyment of driving the car.
mine does same thing only hear that noise when its moving,,car stops noise stops,,,
