Hello I'm new to the Z world I just got a 2011 370z pearl white, I'm already thinking on buying some aftermarket stuff for it. anyways I used to drive a Honda S2000 and I kept the rims from that car when I sold it, I think, correct me if I'm wrong these wheels will fit my Z, they are Sportmax Wheels - Style 962 Deep Lip Rims by Sportmax Racing they are staggered wheels the front are 18x8.5 offset +35 and the rear are 18x9.5 offset +35 and the lip is 2",114.3 5 bolt pattern,. I know that they are not the best wheels for my car, but I already have them and I don't have the money to spend on nicer ones, My question is will they fit the stock tires and will they fit the car? please let me know what you guys think, good or bad, thank you.

No please, just powdercoat your stocks or call me when you want something a little more quality.

Should cost you about $100-$150 per wheel.

amuzement 05-10-2011 02:12 AM

They would probably crack under the extra weight of a heavy set female passenger.

USMCASA 05-10-2011 06:29 AM

if that is all you can afford get them if thats what you want. i would just save my cash until i could afford something forged so that you won't have to worry about a bent wheel.

happytheman 05-10-2011 06:59 AM

Your stock 18s are much better quality. If you want to change the look, get 'em powder coated. Just my $.02 worth.

Lemers 05-10-2011 07:12 AM

Just powder coat the base rims

hansoac 05-10-2011 07:33 AM

Or see if you can catch someone selling their 19" rays. I get LOTS of compliments on them and they are just stock on the sport package

m4a1mustang 05-10-2011 07:42 AM

I think the Z deserves a better wheel than that.

USMCASA 05-10-2011 08:10 AM

buy my sports so i can get my set of strasse forged wheels

Econ 05-10-2011 08:11 AM

what would be the point of spending money to downgrade your car.

I'll sell you my old Hyundai's 100hp V4 if you want... It'll deff fit.

+1... in other words, keep the stock 18's.

check out Red_Zed's ride. he lowered his recently and looks pretty damn good with the stock 18's.

I already have them, I've had this rims for 5 years now, I know they are not the best quality out there, that's why I was looking for you guys opinion.

you got pictures of them?

Pitz 05-10-2011 12:33 PM

hey thanks for the replies, here is the thing, I already have the sport max rims, I've had them for 5 years now. I mean they are just sitting there and I know the quality is not the best, that's why I asked the question. right now I'm looking into powdercoating the stock rims, or get the 19" rays, IDK yet.

hey did you read what I wrote? dude Don't get your panties up in a bunch, I own these rims already, I've had them for 5 years, I just wanted to know what ppl on here thought about it, that's all. and I don't want your piece of **** Hyundai

CBRich 05-10-2011 12:43 PM

I'm not a wheel snob. They've lasted this long, they're decent looking and they're free. You may want some spacers, but besides that feel free. If for some reason you hit a pothole and they bust just put the stocks back on.

Cmike2780 05-10-2011 12:55 PM

I would keep those rims for a winter setup. I don't know where lake zurich is exactly, but you will want a dedicated winter tire/wheel setup eventually if you are in an area that receives snow. This way, you can save up for what ever custom wheels you want and still have the winter set.

The stock Enkei 18's are actually pretty nice IMO. They just need to be wider. I upsized my tires to 245's F/ 275's R and they look a lot better.

lol, yeah it's Illinois!

Waiz 05-10-2011 02:37 PM

Your wheels would fit but the size/offset is too conservative for the 370z. Don't believe me,? just put them on the Z and notice how sunk-in they will look.

I would just sell them or use them as a winter/backup set.

I believe you, I don't need to waste my time doing it! lol I mean really this is saving me alot of hustle, Right now I'm probably just going to leave the stock wheels on and maybe get them powdercoated, but I think I'm going to get a CB soon.

c41006 05-10-2011 02:44 PM

Good choice

couldn't part with it, well that is not gonna get a good trade in value so i'm just gonna keep it. its worth more to me than it would be to get butt raped on a trade in for a smaller payment.

um... pictures, they are the same ones in my avatar standard sports, have michelin sport a/s on them and no curbage. whats the standard asking price for them now?

So 800 w/out tires and i've got 1500 worth of tires on them 700 for the front and 800 for the back michelins so....

1600 for all shipped on your dime or local pickup within 150 miles of Raleigh NC or I will be at ZdayZ in western NC later this month and you can pick them up there. I should have the car trailered and the other set of wheels by then.
