Mounting to the back of the fang will be the easiest. Something like this one from Summit racing can be used as a starting point. As I recall there are a couple of screw holes already for the dummy plates, and as long as the part was black you wouldn't see it at all.


The space between the caliper and the hub is fairly tight, making something that can use this space to the max and still let you turn the wheel will be a bit of a challenge. Hanging off at the caliper attachment points is the way to go.

Unless someone will sell me a kit soon I'm seriously considering contracting a local metal shop to make the parts for me.

This would look good in the fangs as well.

ok guys we just took in a Nismo 370z and have removed the rear bar...we are going to be building a harness bar that completely replaces that silver bar behind the seat

some preliminary specs:

- stock fitment (no need to cut or move anything at all)

- installation will be between 30 min. - 1 hour (dependant on how quick you are with tools)

- a variety of finishes (everything from powdercoated, camo, carbon fiber, kevlar) final price depends on final finish

- harnesses will attach by eyebolt

btw guys, its filled with foam!!!

so our harness bar will actually add alot of actual structural integrity to the car itself because this is very thin piece metal

and its not like structural foam that gets sprayed in and sets

this is like packaging foam that you can pull out with a long set of needle nose pliers

basically just so that you dont get any noise from the pipe when in the car

Will the mounting points of the bar itself be sturdier than stock ones? Or is it efficient enough already?

once its all bolted together its solid so the mounting points dont really need to be reinforced
