Some Z love on friday.
This thread is for the guys that have written threads about Z owners not sharing enthusiasm out on public roads. It seems so many of us go out there and when we are side by side, there's a lack of acknowledgement.
We'll the night before last I was in arlington tx. On lamar when a black 350z and I, a silver 370z were side by side. The guys waved, me and my wife waved back. End of story. Lol I just needed to say that though it looks bleek out there for fairlady enthusiasm. We are out there. Don't give up hope. We really do have a Z society in that ocean of posers. Lol. |

I always acknowledge other Z drivers. I will admit most don't respond though. Miata owners (my last 2 cars) seem to me much more aware of other Miata drivers than Z owners for some reason.

This could just be me, I feel like if I try to acknowledge 350 drivers, they usually big league me or are oblivious. 370 drivers are usually much more likely to acknowledge. Maybe because there are far more 350's tooling around

I don't generally see a lot of 370z tooling around, but when I do I try to acknowledge them. Unfortunately it seems that most Z owners I pass up are in a world of their own.
Oh well, I just keep driving with a smile on my face! |

It really depends on the person. I get more waves from other drivers. For some Z owners it's just a nice car. They don't care about the love a passion we have here.
