What car tried to race you today?
 

Hey guys im new to the forums as well as a new 370z owner. I just wanted to see if anyone else shares my experience as drivers try to race you. This morning on my drive to school i got angry after spotting a bird dropping on my hood after spending all day yesterday cleaning/waxing/etc the car. There was a truck in front of me that was going 35 in a 45 so i sped past him. Apparently there was an evolution VII nearby that caught up to me and we ended up racing as he kept slowing down and speeding up next to me to catch my atention. So we raced and he beat me cause i saw a black charger and thot it was the cops so i slowed down and got stuck at the light.

Street racing is not permitted on the forums :) have a good day IBTL

no street racing for me. when im in my Z i try to keep distance away from any modded or any 'fast' cars. i dont want any part of it. ive had kids do the same thing (speed up/slow down) next to me in the past and i just turned off the street.

last thing i need is some bozo kid smashing into a pole by himself and somehow i get reported of having anything to do with his crash.

That's the same thing that happens here, I had an eclipse go door to door with me on the highway for a good 2 miles or so. I would have loved to wipe the asphalt with him, but it wasn't worth the risk of getting a ticket and having my car impounded. (Phoenix is REALLY tough on street racing)
