Check out how my weekend went!

And that conludes the "Let us be vulgar for you segment" of the thread. Seriously, though "space car"? LOL

Sounds like you planned it. Slammed on your brakes so she'd hit you...you sly SOB. Wish I had thought of this...

Seriously, best story ever. Really hope you get to screw her brains out.

And uh...I mean, I hope your car is ok too

I mean, depending on how much damage was actually done, and if they do need to replace the rear, yes, they can put a nismo body on it.. if the cost is the same, your good to go, worst case scenario, you pay maybe a couple hundred bucks out of pocket for a nismo kit

I think it's going to take months not weeks to fix your z. I would think they need to replace your rear fender then paint most of the z. Usually a great body shop has a waiting list so it's not uncommon to wait a month for them to start work.

ugh.... not news i like to hear! Thanks for the honesty though, id rather know what im getting into so when the call comes in, its not as much of a shock.

oh, and they will have to replace the rear fender, hatch and some serious bodywork on the rear quarter panels. Plus the rocker panels(side skirts?) and hopefully the front bumper......

As for the "Space Car", i dont expect for her to know anything about cars, but she likes it which is all that matters. My last GF didnt give a flying **** and hated it every time i had fun in it with her in the car. One of the reasons i ditched that one.

My 350z was rear ended but mine had slightly less damage to the 2 rear quarter panels. I think they told me 1 month and it took 2. It ended up costing her insurance company more than $20k to fix. They did a really good job because I couldn't tell where it was painted.

How does she feel about the whole thing? Are you getting a second date or shying away from her?
It is only a car, but I am glad there was no one else in the car with you.
Does she need new glasses or was she on her cell phone? I would like to know the excuse, because it better be more than stupidity.

Hope she stills likes ya when her insurance company jacks up her rates. Thats at least 10K+ in damages probably alot more. I had similar damage on a G20 and it cost 7k to fix, and they didnt have to replace my rear quarters like there probably gonna for you. Good Luck with everyting man.
