370Z Gas Gauge Never Full

If you estimate with the stock gauge and the stock MTE, prepare to walk. I almost got forked by it on my last long trip.

You're kidding, right? You obviously did not read what I wrote; namely (emphasis added):

Quote:
It's not about how many more drops of gas you can get in the tank - it's about trusting the gas gauge reading. And I especially wouldn't rely on the gas guage at the bottom of the tank if I can't rely on it at the top of the tank, nor would I think very many people are going to run the tank dry to find out where "E" really is...

Actually, the last dot not lighting up can change how much gas the system thinks it has.
Since mine has failed to light up the last dot my MPG & range have gone completely out of whack with what it should be, cannot trust the system anymore.

My far right led lights when I fill my Z up. If I top my tank all the way off, the led stays lit for quite awhile. I can drive about 30 miles before it goes out.

This is what?... the 15th thread on this? Who cares?

Luckily you don't run the car on "gauge" power but what's actually in the tank. Sometimes I have 3 lights out. Sometimes just 1. But whatever, the tanks full of gas and that's all that matters.

Yes me too... They tested the gauge and that works ok so it's in the tank pulling the tank is a real nightmare, there are 2 senders and the tank is on both sides of the drive shaft and you'll have to drop the rear frame too, so much fun.
