stillen supercharger with a different exhaust?

i have a stillen supercharger kit on my car with a stillen exhaust, was wondering if anyone has any different exhausts like a hks hi power titanium or maybe something else. trying to get a lower growl out of my car supercharger is very whiney, not used to it, always had a turbo, any suggestions?

supercharger whine is a part of the supercharger exhausts wont make a difference, maybe just cover it up. so maybe a louder exhaust?

Yeah, Fast Intentions

I'd like to hear it with a Meisterschaft

I agree with RCZ. I can't even hear mine if I have the radio on. I also have the Stillen exhaust and I think it is just the right volume but to each his own.

I agree the Vortech V3 is not as loud as other blowers out there. I have mine with fast intentions exhaust.

I know this is off topic, but what made you guys go SC over TT?

spearfish25 04-28-2011 11:39 AM

cost, installation complexity, reliability, favoritism, throttle response...yadda yadda.

karamountzos 04-28-2011 01:33 PM

honestly i bought it last week with 10k miles and it was installed already but yes all those reasons plus its covered under warranty. anyone have any sound clips with the v3 and other exhausts? what else can i do to make it rumble lower growl?

For me, it would be what I wanted to do with the car. I can get all the power I'd be comfortable with on an otherwise stock car out of an SC for far cheaper than a TT. I can get a lot more powewr out of a TT setup but would have to do extensive mods for the rest of the car to reliably handle it. TT is the high horsepower/high dollar solution, SC is the medium horsepower/medium dollar solution, and CAI/CATS/Exhaust is the low power/low dollar solution.

Well stated. Also, longevity, complexity of the entire system and driveability are considerations.

What type of warranty?

My Nismo is a daily driver, so I am guessing the SC would be the better choice. Just curious, but what kind of mileage is possible with the SC under normal driving conditions?
