He was connected to the trailer. Not sure how parking was when he got there or how long he was even there, but the parking lot was pretty empty and he could have parked across a couple spots to allow cars to drive through the parking lot easily. Or if he's going to be there for a while, park the trailer, disconnect it, and park the truck in another spot. You can't see it in the photo, but there was a car parked next to me, which made getting out a bit trickier.
