Then switch over to a synthetic (either a group IV with ester additives like Amsoil or a group V, which uses an ester base stock, like Redline) at, say, 5k miles.
Nissan created the oil for this engine. I for one am 100% positive that they use the oil they created for the engine as the factory fill.
