Ironically though, the Mustang was Ford's answer to Chevy's Corvette. Then Chevy countered with the Camaro to compete with the 2+2 design. That's the old GT500. The 2011 beats the Grand Sport now on track times at same raceways though I haven't seen a direct comarision yet. They did by dropping 100 lbs. over the front wheels when they switched to an aluminum block in 2011. Handling supposidly is night and day over the 2010.
