never going to the dealership anymore from now
I went to the dealership today to get my wheels locked.
First of all, a guy who does the vallet parking was some idiot talks like a mad man for no reason and threw my car key into my car...(really rude)(I hate vallet parking but it was required) Then, I had to wait like 2 hours for nothing...(2 hours for changing the wheel locks? really?..) Finally, when they were bringing my car back, they scratched that black piece attached under the front bumper really hard, making a harsh sound. (there was like a kind of stiff hill on the service area road, but this kid won't slow down..f***ing idiot...) I totally gave him a dirty look and he looked as if he was going to s*** his pants with fear in him. When I took the seat, it was full of dirts, and my kick plate was totally dirty with their foot prints. I live in NJ, Bergen County. If anyone read this, don't ever go to a Nissan dealership named East Coast located in Englewood Cliffs. I was going to go to this dealership later to get my oil changed but h*ll no, Imma just get synthetic oil from a shop my friend owns. The only reason I went to the dealership was because the pre owner had wheel locks on, but he lost the key..that's all..f***ing idiot.. anyway have a nice day friends |

I really wouldn't let that all go by. You should complain to the management. First, they might appreciate finding out what's going on (if they don't already know) and second they should be made to clean up their guy's mess and give you at least a complementary oil change. My dealership knows that people who buy Z's usually are auto enthusiasts who treat their expensive cars with great care and expect the same from the dealership. I get it here and I let them know I appreciate it.

Did you let the manager know? I would only take in my car for warranty work.

Kenchan, yep because the pre owner lost the key for the wheel locks,
So I had to go to the dealership to remove the previous locks and get new set of locks with the key. I'm going to complain now. Thanks guys |

Man, preaching to the choir over here. I had mine taken for a 20 mile joyride during an alignment last weekend. Got rock chips on front bumper, hood, and fender. In the process of getting in touch with general manager.

Seriously, you handled it incorrectly. The minute the car jockey opened the door you should have started yelling at the top of your voice about how he scraped your previously unscathed front spoiler and how you have carefully driven to avoid doing so. Then launched into a yelling rant about the dirt and his throwing the key into the car. Keeping the yelling up would have attracted others from the Sales department as they don't want potential customers hearing your rant. Half the time you'll never know who is really in charge as anyone can claim they hold a position they don't at a dealership, but you could have demanded that your 370Z's spoiler be replaced. Unlikely, but some concession likely would have been made. Call Nissan Customer Service and log your complaint, as do they this regarding dealerships.

Threading calling the cops also works.... They don't like the idea of cops showing up for hours in there lots no matter who's the problem is...

This is the reason why I refuse to take my car to the dealer or service station for anything. It boggles me how people can be so ignorant and careless. My advice to you is to get some tools and start working on the car yourself. I would of choked the vallet douche.

Sorry to hear this happened to you. If you ever lose your wheel lock key in the future, any competent wheel/tire shop should be able to help you out.
