Trust me if you get the right one they will. I know I will treat it as such as a Military Policeman in the USMC and I know alot of my buddies on the civilian side does the same thing because we take care of our cars and feel that people should respect others property no matter how minor it may be. Granted we wold not haul them off to jail for this type of infraction but it will make them worry, alot and it is fun from my end just knowing that they cannot go through life pissing on others. but Just look at the evidence, you had contact between two vehicles which left visual damage, one driver left the scene without exchanging information, in any state your in that is leaving the scene of an accident. at minimum you get the insurance payment to fix your door and their rates increase.

please... more like taking care of your cop friends... gimme a break dude.. If you don't have "cop friends" most cops will tell you to piss up a tree.

only if you have an attitude like that. but most i know will respectfully help you out in this situation, granted there are those out there that are like you in your attitude but most take their profession very serious no matter how small the infraction may be. and for all of you that dont know the secret when pulled over by law enforcement when the officer ask you why you were pulled over and you know the reason dont lie, we make our judgment with the first words out of your mouth if you are truthful you will get off with a warning depending on the infraction unless you are a habitual offender.

Straight up, its not their property, so they should respect it.

Reminds me of when I was downtown with the wife, drove downtown in her car (328 Xdrive) pre Z

Anyways, we come out of a resturant and see some guys chatting next to our car and one of the punks is sitting on the hood. I walk and I'm like "Seriously!?" And he's like, my bad, and gets up

The wife found that hot that I said something, led to a nice night :)

So far people seem to respect the Z and are more than careful around it, but I'm sure I'll run across someone who doesn't care about their car or possessions as much as I do.

I sometimes drove my co-workers in my Z to lunch, and guess what the other day i was cleaning my car and found napkins, paper tissues, toothpicks, empty paper cup underneath the passerger seat. WTF. WTF.

Yeap, they don't pay your monthly car payment or insurance.
