Can't burnout

Line locks are the best way to go.... but removing the Stop Lamp fuse is much easier.

I was trying to do a burnout before my new tires came and everytime I barely touched the brakes the power would die down. I was able to do one by not really touching the brakes. I figured it was just me doing something incorrectly, so I gave up but id still like to learn how to correctly do a standing burnout in the Z.

Ill try not even using the brakes to see if the outcome turns out better.

yup this^ only practical application is for doing a burnout in a water box.

i know this is pretty much a topic for another debate thread but.......... i've read multiple times from multiple different sources that doing a "burnout" on street tires is pointless. best thing to do is either avoid the water box all together so your tires don't get wet, or just do a quick spin (as opposed to a car enveloping smoke screen) to clean the tires off.

turn off vdc.... push in clutch....... rev to 3 thousand rpm's or higher if you want...... then rip the clutch if your moving try reving the engine higher but like "nissanboy" its nearly impossible to do a standing burnout in a 370z without removing the Stop Lamp fuse
