It took like 6 months before you figured out I wasn't rich.

Crap like this happens to me in my neighborhood all the time. I live in a neighborhood made up of "villages" with lots of walking paths, parks and lakes and a little town center.
The neighborhood has elementary, middle and high schools so lots of kids are walking here and there. On my street there is the entrance to a boardwalk designed to allow the little brats who live on the street to walk through the woods to the school. Of course, fat, lazy housewives all drop off and pick up there kids here instead of actually going to the school itself. Because of that I can barely get to and from my house in the hours this is happening (keep in mind it should not be happening at all) The speed limit is 25 in the entire neighborhood. I rarely ever exceed it. I usually putt through the neighborhood going about 20. Even so, I cannot count the number of times some self-important housewife spots my car and comes out in the road (next a row of street-blocking SUV's) and gives me the hand motions while mouthing "slow down" when I am not even speeding. I usually just give them the finger and keep my speed constant. occasionally i turn the music up too.

Jealousy is a bad emotion. I do not care how nice a car somebody has as long as they are polite.

Yup, get it too.
Actually, one of my good friends, we used to both idolize the Z. I just got married a few months ago, Honeymooned in Hawaii, came back and some how I managed to get the Z which doesn't make sense lol. He was kinda happy for me but I sensed a "WTF" in his voice, now I haven't heard or seen him in 2 months.... You don't see that many here in MTL, so some people may think it costs way more than it does, I'm ok with them thinking that lol

well depending on where you live, having a Z one would also assume that is ur second car. so the fact u have a second car means ur rich i guess. but yeah, i find people don't realize how reasonably priced they are and just assume they cost as much as a viper or Porsche.

I always funny that people give me grief about buying my Z, and I just have to shake my head. My town is over run with 2500HDs and Ford 2-350's. Have they not priced those lately? I mean I paid more for my Z71 in 1999 than I did for my car.
As for the tailgating, I get that a lot. Im sorry Im not scraping my front just so you dont have to put on the breaks. I get more issues with people pulling about 6 inches from me in traffic. After the first time I roll back a little you should realize Im driving a stick. SO BACK OFF.... |

Perspective is a funny thing. Considering the average median income of the US population is around $28k a year, a $40k sports car isexpensive. It's affordable for those making over $50k a year like most of us here, but try rationalizing that to someone making $15k a year.
I guess what I'm trying to say is most of us are fortunate and we shouldn't take that for granted. Some people just don't realize most us worked hard to get to where we are.... and some people are just a**holes.

Prius owners piss me off all the time, they are EVERYWHERE in Boston. They try and race me all the time ( no way jose) , or speed up next to me and then cut me off and slow down, cause accidents, or just in general drive with no regard. I hate them, all of them, every single Prius owner sucks at driving. Whenever I am on the highway I always stay far away from them, i dont know what it is but they always try and show off by accelerating really fast in one lane, like they are proving that just because their car is green doesnt mean its not fast. Get a life Prius owners, go stick ur head in mud............ok done ranting
