That is what I thought at least, but I think it is much easier and cost effective to skip the sport package and add all that back compared to skipping the Touring and adding all that back with Touring parts or getting a new sound system, seats, and door inserts.
I'm not really into the crazy driving or what not. I'm a pretty chill driver. I'm just going for the Sport because I like how it has the Rev Matching thing, the lil display on the speedo that tells you what gear your in (I find it unique as I dunno any other 6MT cars that have that). I do like having the Sport brakes. Brakes in my current car is crap. I also like the bigger wheels as the base wheels look too small. If anything, my plans are to get Nismo wheels but that's later in the future. I don't plan on rolling in non Ray's when I 1st get the car.

The Proper LSD is probably not going to affect me. Touring however is meh. I think my biggest problem would be finding someone who is selling their interior. That's my biggest concern with not going with touring. I sat in the cloth seats and I can't really say I like them all that much.

J/w, is it possible to order touring seats and the door suede pieces from Nissan?

If you could, it would still be cheaper to get the touring package; they wont buy your old stuff back.

They sell the bottom seat trim (upholstery) at Courtesy Nissan ; $650 each for base, $1150 for touring. Same price for the seat back. So, just the leather seatcovers will cost you around $4600, and they wont be power or heated; that will cost you another $3500. headrest are $190 each.

I don't understand the pricing you listed.

I'm just talking about buying the leather seats (2 seats) + door suede from the touring package with the power motor.

I can sell the base seats on the private classifieds or w/e.

Not for much though since there are very few people looking to buy them. You won't be able to find Touring seats for sale at anything less than $1,200 and that is the lowest I have seen them. I guess you could get the seats for 1,200, the audio for $1,000+, and have the door inserts wrapped in real suede for $300-400 but that is not much of an advantage if any compared to the average cost of the Touring package after negotiation.

You are right though, the sport package is a fantastic deal!

I'm sorry; it looks like the seat bottoms complete are $1775 each (PN 87300-Z34003) and the seat backs complete are $1150 each (87670-Z34003). There are no prices for a complete seat. So, from Nissan, it's about $3K per seat.

A base seat comes out to about $2K per seat, so leather, power, and heat adds about $1k per seat.

lol that's absurd. Might as well just get touring then. I thought it be cheaper.

Adding parts later from the manufacturer is never cheaper for cars.

Default Base is good enough

I have the base 6 speed. The sport and touring package are nice but then again I purchased my vehicle new for 27000.00 plus delivery tax tags.

Under the Touring specs it says the audio system in the car is 8 speakers and dual subwoofers? Where are the other 2 speakers and 1 subwoofer?

I could the 2 on top of the dash, the 2 on the door, and the 2 behind your seats. And then the subwoofer that's in the middle of your spare tire in the trunk. Is there another/smaller one behind/under your seat?

The specs say 8 speakers including dual subwoofer - the woofer unit in the spare tire has two speakers, so that makes 8 total speakers.

Who would spend money on adding the worlds WACKEST stock audio system in ANY vehicle. You find a better sound system in a 20k hyundai veloster or a 16k hyundai accent than the stock bose Z stereo.

Get your metra kit. $35, get a pioneer avh 4400 for $400 or for a high def screen and added features, get the 8400 for $550. Get a jl audio w3v3sub,$200 and DLS up6I components for $350. This setup will run you around $1500 minus sub box, wiring and the amps of your choice which should be roughly $2000. DY this simple system and I guarantee that in the Z... it will sound like $5k systems in GT cars if done right.
At the end its $800 more than buying someone elses used bose system that's harder to install than aftermarket. The sound quality is stupendously better volume is 3x louder with much more clarity. Eurpean speakers with a good old fashioned american sub. It doesn't get any better price to performance.

They count the tweeters as speakers, and there are two "woofers" in the spare.

+1...... Hands down this is the better bet to go with. The Bose system is good, but instead of spending XXXX amount on it, you could spend the same maybe $500 more. If you opt out to getting a better system it will sound a hell of a lot better w/o a question & would blow your mind away. I will bet that you would not regret it if you decided to go down this path.
