I know awesome talented meticulous shops that are $50-65 and hour covering a wide range of depth. I know stoneage disesl truck shops who charge $110 an hour and their talent is quite limited. then there is everything in the middle.
some can charge a lower rate and milk the clock. Talent and care for your baby come first. Work it into the conversation that you are well networked in the enthusiast community and "heard" they do good work..... they will know you can influence future business or lack thereof... good luck
