my guess (after i looked how much they were and the MPG they get)

the driver doesnt take it out too often .... the MPG is only 11-20. so in other words, it GUZZLES that gas

thats my guess as to why you dont see them right now. with prices $4.17 a gallon or more. that be a pricey car to drive PERIOD not just cuz the car itself but the p*ss poor mpg

If you own an R8, likely, gas prices dont concern you too much.

Another thing to Own is Oil Royalty trust and distribution stock...If you "park" enough money, you drive for free, and never lose any Principal...

That is how I do it..You don't even look at the price...You just fill up..

If you can afford an Audi R8 which is about 140-150k, I seriously doubt you are worried about the gas, insurance, tires, or maintenance. If you are worried about all that, then you obviously cannot afford it.

Honestly... if someone can afford that car. I think gas is the last thing that comes to their minds.

I was at the course hitting some balls on the range. I was on the putting green and I saw some dude parking next to my car. I was in the far extreme corner and was pretty pissed since it was relatively empty and its a fair size lot and he parks right next to me. I finish up and walk down to the car, it was an Aston Martin DBS. I took back all the curse words I muttered before when I thought it was a Jaguar.

That's pretty cool. How could you not know what car it was from afar? An almost $300,000 car is not something even an vision-impaired individual would miss

It was just given the area, Bristow VA it never crossed my mind that was what it was. I know what an amazing car it is, and know what a DBS looks like, but just never thought an Aston Martin would have just randomly been at that course. I do know one of the members has a orange lambo, but other than that never seen something of that caliber. Plus my car was blocking just about all but the back from the angle I was looking from. Shes kinda got a donk lol

I thought it was one of these from about 500+ yards away, which is normally more in touch with the crowd normally there:

It is the most expensive donk that I have ever had.

Man what a disservice I did to that guy, thinking he had a freaking jag. My bad dude

It's pretty neat he chose to park next to you among all the different spots, either he thought to himself that since you also have a nice car, you'll probably be careful with his car around or he was just showing off to you. Probably the former.

I agree. That was why I was kind of mad to start because somebody had to make quite the effort to park next to me because it would mean the longest walk to the clubhouse. But after realizing what it was, it was probably because he knew I wouldnt bother his car and take care around the cars. I think it was also a little check me out attitude also which was pretty cool. It was a pretty cool experience.

Thanks for the props mustang! Maybe Ill see you around on the road
