Then you could have replied with "yea, are you the guy who found it necessary to park next to me even though there were 100 other open spaces?"

I always park way out and someone always seems to park right by me when there are 30 other spots right by. If it is a nice car I do not mind, and I often park next to high end cars myself when I see them. Just a little added security for both of us.
