i dont think that this is new, i have seen it some where before, and i think its fake for one thing they wont jump from 370 to 390, and 370z figures are down so no one knows if there will be another z beyond the 370.

Early concept that was being tossed around a while back.

^yeah, saw this a while back I believe. but I may be wrong.

There's a lot of styling cues in this pic from our Z now. Look at the roofline carefully, as well as the shape of the front fenders and rear. I think this is possibly the early renderings on the 370 and someone drew in 390 to create buzz.

Looking at it some more and I think if they stretch out the rear window some and keep it this modern looking. We may see a ZX model out of this??? The styling is very GT looking. Who knows??? 370zx or 380zx??? The GT models were huge sellers so its possible...

I'm just pessemistic as a whole that there will be a next gen. Sales are low and tragedy struck japan. So I'm guessing after the 370 run. We might see another 7 year hiatus???

Damn, I wish the 370Z looked like that :)

elmz 04-11-2011 09:23 AM

That looks awesome, but something tells me if it looked like that, it would not be affordable.

Has more of a Ferrari + G37 coupe kind of look. Wouldn't mind that look for the GT-R, it would make it seem like more of an exotic :D

Looks like something some kid drew. Until I see test mules, it's BS. Whether it's Ford, Nissan, Ferrari, GM, or anyone else.

Talk about blind spots on that design....

Why not a jump to 390? Thats is +20 just like difference from the 350 to 370. I think we all agree that the VQ has pretty much reached it's limit. So I believe a completely different engine may come soon. But until then. Power adders like direct injection may be used.

Maybe they will resurrect the 350z by creating the 350zh (hybrid) :)

Lemers 04-11-2011 09:03 PM

How about a 240zx. Turbo 4
