How'd you get started

KInd of a family thing for me. Back in the late 80's both my sister & cousin had 280Zs, then a few years later my cousin got a 300ZX. I have always loved that body style, & was bummed when he had to get rid of it because he was getting too may tickets (the very early 20's male need for speed & all of that).

Fast forward to 2008, & I'm nearing a position to where I can seriously make an effort to get a 350, & while overseas, I hears something about a new Z. Waited months & months for the car mags to do a first drive & all that. I was hooked from the first image I ever saw. I subscribe to the theory of never buyng a new car the first model year, so I've been biding my time since 09, but it will happen for me Thanksgiving of this year. Damn thing is that I have the kind of job where I can save up to buy a Z cash in about 8 months, but I'll only be home in the states 45 days out of the year to drive it.
